Stephanie Kwai

Stephanie Kwai joined the Guggenheim in February 2011 as Curatorial Assistant for the BMW Guggenheim Lab, where she works on content development for the Lab’s global program. Previously, she served at the China Institute Gallery and, prior to that, as the Modern Chinese Paintings and Contemporary Asian Art Intern at Christie’s in New York. Before completing her MA in East Asian studies at Columbia University, Kwai spent time working with an NGO in the Yunnan Province in China and studied modern Chinese art at Oxford University and Peking University. She graduated with a BFA in fine arts with a minor in communication from Cornell University.
