Lab Team member Corinne Rose introduces the topic of the day: Communication and Participation II. Is participation the new urban social order? As urban populations increase, soliciting and responding to citizens’ needs will become an indispensible component of city planning. While many cities already engage with citizens through social media and other tools, participation should also encourage autonomy and hands-on action.

Lab-Mitglied Corinne Rose stellt das Thema des Tages vor: Kommunikation und Beteiligung II. Ist Beteiligung die neue urbane Gesellschaftsordnung? Die wachsende Bevölkerungszahl macht es erforderlich, Bedürfnisse von Bürgern bei der Stadtplanung zu berücksichtigen und auf diese einzugehen. Viele Städte beziehen ihre Bürger durch soziale Medien und andere Tools zwar bereits ein, eine Beteiligung sollte aber auch zu Autonomie und praktischer Hilfe führen.
Diese Veranstaltung findet in deutscher Sprache statt.
