In this presentation and skillshare workshop, join maker culture activist Bilal Ghalib for a look at what’s happening in maker spaces in Berlin and around the world.
Bilal Ghalib has been helping cultivate the maker movement in the Middle East through his Global Entrepreneurship and Maker Space Initiative (GEMSI). He is interested in personal fabrication, open-source hardware and software, and hacker spaces as an empowering ecosystem for entrepreneurship. He is currently working with Autodesk and Instructables.com, sharing tools and fresh ideas to help unlock the creativity in everyone. He wants to see a world with more creative people building, solving problems, and being lovely to each other.
