Alterazioni Video turns the Lab into a forum for a unique system of casting that is not only a call for actors and extras, but also a call for ideas about the content of Alterazioni’s next video project, which takes the city of Berlin as its star. Come prepared to audition for a contributing role and share your opinions, personal experiences, and visions for the future in response to Berlin’s complex urban context. We invite people from different social backgrounds, and welcome their willingness to confront themselves over themes concerning the city in which they live. In this act of co-creation, the most visionary and characteristic points of view will be integrated into the script, which enables a participatory evolution of the making of a movie.

Alterazioni Video is an international art video collective based in Milan, New York, and Berlin. Founded in 2004 by Paololuca Barbieri Marchi, Alberto Caffarelli, Giacomo Porfiri, and Andrea Masu, the collective has been invited to the 52nd Venice Biennale in 2007, Manifesta 7, and Performa9 and Performa11 in New York, among other shows.

Alterazioni Video wandelt das Lab in ein Forum für ein einzigartiges Casting-System um, welches nicht nur ein Aufruf für Schauspieler und Laiendarsteller sondern auch ein Aufruf für Ideen für den Inhalt des neuen Videoprojekts von Alterazioni ist, das die Stadt Berlin als Hauptdarsteller einsetzt. Kommen Sie vorbereitet zum Casting für eine wesentliche Rolle und teilen Sie uns mit, was Ihre Vorstellungen, persönlichen Erfahrungen und Zukunftsvisionen im Bezug auf Berlins umfangreichen urbanen Kontext sind. Wir laden Personen mit unterschiedlichen Hintergründen ein und heißen ihre Bereitschaft willkommen, sich Fragen zu stellen zu Themen über die Stadt in der sie leben. Bei dieser Aktion des gemeinsamen Erschaffens werden die visionärsten und einzigartigsten Standpunkte in das Skript integriert, wodurch eine evolutionäre Teilhabe am Filmemachen ermöglicht wird.

Alterazioni Video ist eine internationale Videokunstgemeinschaft mit Sitz in Mailand, New York und Berlin. Das 2004 von Paololuca Barbieri Marchi, Alberto Caffarelli, Giacomo Porfiri, und Andrea Masu gegründete Kollektiv wurde zur 52. Biennale in Venedig (2007), zur Manifesta 7 sowie zur Performa9 und Performa11 in New York und anderen Shows eingeladen.
