The World’s Most Bike-Friendly Cities (Full Version)

This video presents the full version of Sidsel Birk Hjuler's talk, "The World's Most Bike-Friendly Cities," in which Hjuler discusses her project, the Copenhagenize Index. Copenhagen was used as an index in this project because, even when they have access to cars, the city's citizens are devoted cyclists. They bike even though they can afford to drive because they simply cannot imagine using an automobile to make short trips. Thus Copenhagen serves as a gauge for other cities' relative success in promoting bike-friendly infrastructure and culture.
