The Mumbai Lab worked with local organizations on citywide studies and Mumbai-specific design projects to look at ways to redesign effective and efficient public spaces. These initiatives were intended to suggest new ways for citizens, designers, and city officials to approach public space in Mumbai, with a focus that shifted back and forth between the individual and community—from “me” to “we.”
